Been coming here since I was a little little kid. Haven’t been up recently since I now live on the west coast but this place will forever hold a place in my heart. For the longest time growing up every summer this was the only week I’d look forward to every summer July 4th up there enjoying life and peacefulness. One of these years I’ll have to return!
I recently stopped there for a couple of days to surprise my children and grandchildren who have been staying there for a week. I took my own children many, many times years ago when they were young the same time each year. It's a family-owned business that's been there for 40 to 50 years. There are activities for the for the kids to keep busy. I find it very wonderful for young families. They offer three meals a day, which is included in your stay. You can eat, get up, and be on your way. The rooms are simple. It's almost like a dirty dancing type atmosphere, simple low key on a beautiful piece of property.
